SMS Compliance — Detailed Documentation

This page is intended for messaging providers' and carriers' compliance teams. It describes the transactional nature of NeverForget® SMS notifications, the evidence retained and the contact points.

1. Nature of the service

NeverForget® is a private-message delivery platform. Authenticated users compose private content, but NeverForget® remains the A2P sender of every SMS notification. The SMS is a standardized transactional message that only informs the recipient that private content is available on a secure delivery page hosted on https://nfgt.eu.

2. Opt-in type

The authenticated user creates an individual delivery request and declares, when creating the SMS Intention®, that the recipient is a person they know, that the number does not come from a purchased, rented, scraped or imported list, and that the number is provided solely to execute the requested delivery. The evidence listed below documents the user's request and declarations; it does not claim to be a form filled in directly by the recipient.

4. Evidence retained per SMS Intention®

  • User ID (UUID)
  • Intention® ID
  • UTC date and time (ISO 8601)
  • Recipient number — masked or hashed on export
  • Version of the accepted terms
  • User's public IP address
  • Browser User-Agent
  • SHA-256 integrity hash
  • SMS template used
  • Delivery page ID
  • STOP / HELP status

5. Opt-out and opt-in keywords

  • Opt-out: STOP, STOP ALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, QUIT, CANCEL, END (handled per the telecom provider configuration and propagated to NeverForget®).
  • Help: HELP, INFO — automated reply identifying NeverForget® and the support contact.
  • Re-opt-in: START, YES, UNSTOP (where supported).

6. Internal audit API

NeverForget® exposes an internal API allowing administrators to provide, upon request from a carrier or authority, the evidence associated with a delivery request by its ID.

7. Sender number and registration

NeverForget®'s US sender number is subject to the registration and verification procedures required by its telecom providers before any production use.
